Carlos was born and raised in Honduras (Latin America) before earning a Business Administration degree (tech & product focus) from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. A three‑time founder, he co‑founded A.Party (later Plots), leading early product and business model work that laid the foundation for its growth to 100,000+ users. He then led growth marketing at a San Francisco tech company, landing its first major hotel‑chain customer and seeding broader adoption. Afterward, he helped a SF AI startup find customer fit, contributing to a successful fundraise and acquisition, before running operations teams at Amazon.
With 8+ years across retail, product, AI, and growth, Carlos brings firsthand insight into small businesses in Latin America and the U.S. Self‑taught in crypto infrastructure, he has spent the past two years building AI tools, combining technical depth with design and usability in real‑world execution. This mix uniquely positions him to lead Atomic’s mission to deliver intuitive, accessible, and powerful tech.

With a Computer Science degree from UC Berkeley, Leonard has applied AI across healthcare, enterprise, and financial systems. He created ClassifEye, an AI tool that contributed to peer-reviewed research in clinical medicine, with results published in leading journals such as Neurology. At Lenovo, he led an applied AI project developing an app for automated edge server repair. He later joined a high-growth Y Combinator startup, gaining exposure to Silicon Valley's engineering culture, before moving to Fountain, a venture-backed fintech and crypto company in New York. There, he led engineering on a DeFi trading platform that processed over two million dollars in trading volume for hedge funds and institutions.
